Robert Rowe

Robert, who was once a reporter on Radio 4, later trained with The Actors' Company.

Recent stage appearances include Trelawney of the 'Wells' (New Players Theatre), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Arcola), Damages (Old Red Lion),  The Kindness of Strangers (Landor),  Othello and Richard III (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival) and The Philanderer (Greenwich Playhouse). He toured Uruguay and Argentina in The Drama of the River Plate and played the The Cherry Orchard  in the UK, Iran and Serbia. He went Russian again for Dostoevsky’s The Double  (White Bear) and Uncle Vanya (Camden People's Theatre), Norwegian for The Master Builder (Wimbledon Studio) and Scots for Macbeth (The Scoop).

He has worked on a range of indie films, notably The Secret Life of Thomas Schviefel (Lucy Pawlak Films), Supertelephoto (Ezra Productions), The Pigeon (Jaime Films & Rizzo Media), See You Tomorrow, I Hope (Studio Mitha, Milan) and The Gate (Matt Westrup for Joyrider).

He has done voiceovers for documentaries about Singapore, the Antarctic and the London Underground, and acting work in French, German and Greek. TV work includes Ladies of Letters (ITV), Britain's Nazi King: Revealed (Five) and commercials for Subway, the Geek Squad, BBC London, Greenpeace and Random House.
